GE said external investors to redeem the company’s share of bond funds

GUANGZHOU (Fund China) – General Electric (GE) on November 14, General Electric’s enhanced cash fund all external investors withdrew funds, the company before allowing them to share each 0.96 US dollars redemption.

However, the money market fund with a similar fund for holders of other asset-backed instruments suffered losses. The company told investors, is expected to “current market difficulties, including cash flow problem and valuation dislocation, in the foreseeable future will continue.”

Templeton Group in Singapore issued 38 new fund

The second largest bank in Malaysia launched the first China fund

GUANGZHOU (Fund China) – According to “StarOnline” website reports, Malaysia’s second-largest bank Public Bank will be launched first in the 23rd China Fund, and was named “PB China Pacific Securities Fund.”

The new fund will mainly invest in China stock market and in Japan, South Korea, and proper configuration. Public Bank chairman Tan Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow said the new fund will provide investors the opportunity to invest in China, from China’s strong economic growth prospects in the acquisition of return.

Basis Capital fund insolvent

A troubled hedge fund run by Australia’s Basis Capital is insolvent and has appointed liquidators to wind it up in the Cayman Islands, according to court filings.

The Basis Yield Alpha Fund – until recently one of Australia’s best-rated hedge funds – collapsed after investments linked to US subprime mortgages went sour and Wall Street banks seized assets to cover debts.
