GUANGZHOU (Fund China) – Many first time investors without invest experiments may get together by the fund high profit when new funds published. It is concerned that whether it will cause a spreaded redemption for the loss fund at present as the historical data showed the fund market is variable.

The QDII funds dropped last week affected by the HongKong and New York stock market slump. The Southern Global Enhanced Balanced Fund shrinked to 0.926 yuan per share dropped 4.83% compared to a earlier week, China AMC Ehanced Global Equity Fund slumpped 6.63% to 0.887 yuan, CIFM Asia Pacific Advantage Fund plummeted 5.43% to 0.889, and Harvest Oversea China Stock Fund fell 5.4% to 0.863. All the 4 funds net value are below 1 yuan. And there will be a heavier stress in redemption since the approaching IPO and redemption transation of the Southern Global Enhanced Balanced Fund and CIFM Asia Pacific Advantage Fund.

The QDII funds fell down last week followed the Hongkong and New York stock market slump. The Southern Global Enhanced Balanced Fund will take the IPO and redemption transation until 19th Dec. while the CIFM Asia Pacific Advantage Fund at 27th Dec..

The 4 funds net value is below 1 yuan for so long after its publishment and suffering the fiery adjustment in the oversea stock market.A survey from sina showed that 35% of the investors will take the redemptoin once the fund closed period ended; and 46% will keep holding the quota and concern the after-market’s performance.

Suggestion for the gereal speculators to hold the quota: general speaking, QDII fund is a Mid& long term investment instrument, it is for evading risk and diversification aiming for a long steady income not a short term high-profit. As A share is high estimated at present, the speculator could take from 10% to 20% of the total investmetn capital for the QDIIs. And if the new fund speculators who is without experience and hold a large invest proportion of capital in QDII, then the fund management annals will be helpful for analysis and be decisive when fund porfolio needs re-adjustment, and prepare for the coming year 2008.
