Sri Lanka will be set up Carbon Fund

Sri Lanka’s official website news, Sri Lanka’s Cabinet has approved a list of Slovakia Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Minister Patalee Champika Ranawaka submitted by Sri Lanka for the establishment of a memorandum Carbon Fund. This is because the Sri Lankan government has recognized that due to various human activities and the ever-increasing greenhouse gas-induced global warming issues seriousness, the international community has already adopted the “United NationsFramework Conventio n Climatic Change. ” Therefore, the Sri Lankan cabinet approved in principle the establishment of a carbon fund proposed will be designated by the Ministry of Finance and a director of the Secretariat of the Standing Committee official responsible for the completion of planning, within three months of the report to the Cabinet.
