GUANGZHOU (Fund China) – Last week, the weighted average discount rate of closed-end fund moved to 19.83% which nearly came up to that in December last week, but still had a 5% lower than the average level of 2007. the overall discount rate of the closed-end fund moved up obviously, and if the stage weakness of the Large Cap still went on, the discount rate will enhance again.

For the overall movement of closed-end fund last week, ZhengSanjiang, fund consultant manager of China Everbright Securities said that affected by the big sell-off of Large Cap, the overall performance of the closed-end fund would move together with the large Cap synchronously. Seeing from the net value, the closed-end fund’s weighted average net growth is minus 3.009% but the overall performance is better than its Secondary Market, a 6.76% drop.

Dividend is worthy of attention

Last week, close-end funds, Handing fund and Anxin fund contribute a dividend for 3 Yuan per 10 shares. If calculated by Rehabilitation price, Handing fund dropped 2.9927% and Anxing fund declined 1.2796%, but they performed better than the overall performance of the closed-end fund.

Recently, dividend expectation is still a hotspot in the closed-end fund market, said ZhenSanjiang, fund consultant manager of China Everbright Securities, investors can keep close attention to it continuously.

Kexiang fund, Jinxing fund, JinTai fund and Hongfei fund are all with dividend expectation; investors can keep attention to them.

With the market correction closed, the closed-end fund that performed excellently in the fourth quarter last year still has a good investment value. Investors can keep an eye on the closed-end fund with high discount rate, preferable annual yield and dividend effects.
